What’s On This Week: “Midnight Stroll” Returns, and “Lost Paradise” Breaks Hearts
A vampire-ish couple in the rain, an island that should have been left alone, and the Set, as usual, on every other channel.

*Midnight Stroll* (Thursday, late). The drama about the last two of a dying kind returns for a new season. They walk. It rains. They wash off a great deal of blood. They are, as the opening narration reminds us every week, “coming for your kind.” It is very stylish and very slow, and the rain budget alone must be enormous. Not for children, or for anyone who walks home late.
*Lost Paradise* (Saturday, prime time). The new drama everyone is talking about, set on an island where only girls live, until a ship full of men arrives. The first episode is beautiful. The second is hard to watch: the forest burns, the village turns to dust, and the girls are gone. Viewers have written in to ask whether there will be a happy ending. The network has not replied.
*The Set* (all channels, all day). Bill Gates has made another prediction. See our front page.

The rain in Midnight Stroll is real. They film it here. Please stop asking us for umbrellas.
