Man Erased His Ex From His Memory, Met Her on Monday, Fell in Love Again

A Skydale man who paid to have every memory of his former girlfriend removed reports that the procedure worked perfectly, right up until Monday.

He had heard about it from a friend who had done the same. The process, he says, is simple and makes a small sound, roughly “dili-dili-dili, dili-delete.” When it was over he felt light, free, and slightly hungry.

On Monday, at the bus stop, he met a woman he had never seen before. He felt an odd sense of déjà vu. They talked. He asked her out. She said yes, and then, after a long pause, asked whether he was serious.

The clinic says this happens more often than people think, and that it does not offer refunds.
