Dinosaur Leaves Museum Through the Wall; Two Others Already Halfway Down the Street
The museum says it had been asking them to use the door for years.

A long-necked dinosaur left the Skydale Museum on Thursday morning by walking through the front wall, staff say, leaving a hole in the shape of a dinosaur and a great deal of loose brick.
Two smaller dinosaurs had apparently gone ahead earlier and were found standing on the lawn outside, looking at the street. All three are now behind a low railing put up by the museum, which says this is “for everyone’s benefit, including the railing’s.”
Museum staff say the dinosaurs had been restless since hearing that the Skydale Zoo has dinosaurs of its own, now sharing an enclosure with polar bears, a robot nobody remembers buying, and, until recently, a group of naked time travellers.
“They want to visit,” a keeper said. “We’ve told them it’s across town. They don’t really do across town.”
The museum has decided not to repair the wall for now. Visitors are asked to use the door, which is to the left and much smaller.

We have room. The polar bears have been told. The robot seems excited.

They said leave it. I’ve never been told to leave a wall before. I don’t know what to do with my hands.
