Naked Time Travellers Found in City Zoo, Ask What Time It Is
They say they “broke the very fabric of reality.” The polar bears say nothing.

Keepers at the Skydale Zoo arrived on Thursday morning to find a small group of naked people in the enclosure normally shared by the dinosaurs, the polar bears and, since last spring, a robot nobody remembers buying.
“What time is it? Where am I?” were, according to the keepers, the first things they said. The group says they are time travellers who “broke the very fabric of reality” on their way here.
They have since given the keepers a list of things they had meant to fix while travelling, including the library at Alexandria and Pompeii. The list is long and the keepers say it is “very well intentioned.”
The zoo has lent them some clothes. The robot is reported to be enjoying the company.

Correction: An earlier version of this article said the zoo had bought the robot last spring. Nobody remembers buying it. The zoo now believes it may have arrived on its own.

Clothes returned, washed. The robot has asked if they can stay. We are thinking about it.

Pompeii fixed by the end of the month: 1 per cent. Generous.
