The Skydale High Fights Are Being Made Into a Film. Ms. Voss Has Not Been Consulted.
A screenplay called BUG covers the sneaker, the bets, the cake and, the writer says, a lot more.

After a month in which Skydale High produced more news than the rest of the town put together, somebody has written it up as a film.
The screenplay is called “BUG.” It covers the sneaker out of the window, the betting ring, the wall, the bridge and the exploding cake, and the writer says it goes a good deal further than anything this newspaper has been able to report. It was a finalist for the Royal Screenplay award at Cinema Royale in Paris this year.
The writer is the same Vincent who was sent to the Other Side as a boy. How he heard about any of it from over there is a question several people at the school would very much like answered. Readers will recognise “Timid Girl,” number two on the Dobuki 10 this week, sung halfway through.
Ms. Voss has not been consulted. Neither has Mr. Briggs, who has asked only that the film not show him eating fries, “because it was the burger she took.”

To be clear, it was the burger. She left the fries. I would like that accurately represented on screen.

Timid Girl is number two on the chart and it is in the film. This town is a closed loop.

I have not been consulted, and I would like to know who has been talking.
