Teenager Says He Is a Knight Protecting Us From the Dark Empire of Celeste; Teachers Unconvinced
He has asked to be excused from Friday’s test on the grounds of interstellar duty.

A Skydale teenager who describes himself as “a knight from another galaxy” has told his school that he is personally responsible for protecting the planet from the dark empire of Celeste.
“I am here to protect humankind from the enemy,” he explained at a school assembly, at which he had not been invited to speak. He says he looks like an ordinary student on purpose.
His teachers say he is an ordinary student. The Skydale Observatory, asked to confirm or deny the existence of the empire of Celeste, said only that “there is a lot up there,” and that it has had a busy month.
He has asked to be excused from Friday’s test on the grounds of interstellar duty. The request is under review.
