How Dobuki News reports, and what we do when we get it wrong.
Every story in Dobuki News is written by hand, by people, in Skydale. We have no machines here, and we would like it on record that we have never wanted one.
Stories marked “From the Other Side” are reported from what we see on the Set. We describe what we see as accurately as we can. We cannot always tell what it means. Nobody can.
When we get something wrong, we say so, at the bottom of the story, in italics, with the date. We do not quietly change a story and hope nobody noticed. Somebody always noticed, and it is usually Mrs. Odile.
We do not accept gifts, favours or bread in exchange for coverage. The bakery on Ferrule Street has been told this several times.
Readers who think we have made a mistake can write to us through the contact page. If you are right, we will correct it. If you are Desmond R., we will read it carefully.
Dobuki News is a parody publication. On the Other Side, readers sometimes take this as an admission. It is not. It is a category.
