It is a parody. Dobuki News is a work of satire and fiction. Skydale, its residents, its trolls, its bakery and its markets are invented. Stories about the Other Side are comic retellings of songs, videos, games and stories by Vincent, and of things public figures have said in public, linked in the sources where they appear. Nothing here is news, and nothing here should be relied on as fact.

Skydale Markets are not real markets. You cannot buy, sell or bet on anything here. No money changes hands. The prices are jokes. Mika disagrees, but Mika is fictional.

The comments are part of the story. Every comment on this site was written by us, for characters who live in Skydale. Readers cannot post comments.

What belongs to whom. The writing and pictures on this site belong to Dobuki News unless stated otherwise. The songs, music videos and artwork belong to Vincent. Videos from YouTube are shown with YouTube’s own player and under YouTube’s terms. You are welcome to share links to anything here. Please do not copy whole articles.

No promises. The site is provided as it is, for free, with no guarantee that it will always be here or always be right. It will usually be here. It is rarely right.
